Replacement of R22 air conditioning systems for Oxford University Press
The Client Brief
Our client wanted to replace their existing air conditioning system running on R22 refrigerant with a more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly alternative. This work was to be carried out ahead of a planned return to the office following the easing of Covid restrictions.
Our Solution
Our goal was to minimise disruption to the office areas and provide our client with the quickest and most cost-effective solution available. Using Daikin replacement technology, we replaced the existing R22 VRV equipment and split system air conditioning units with their modern-day R32 and R410A equivalents. This approach meant we could make use of all the existing interconnecting services throughout the building – much of which would have been inaccessible otherwise.
The Results
Our client now has the most up-to-date and energy efficient-systems available, and all replaced without their staff ever knowing we had been on site. Our client will also benefit from the seven-year parts warranty thanks to our special Daikin D1 status.
