New freezer room at Oxford Agricultural Trials research facility
The Client Brief
Our client’s existing low-temperature refrigerated trailer wasn’t sufficiently reliable.
Our Solution
Having discussed various options with the client, we installed a large walk-in freezer room operating at -20 degrees celsius. The room is served by a Searle cooler connected to a Copeland condensing unit, all of which is controlled by a project-specific control panel.
The room includes new lighting to provide a light working environment as well a lobby area to provide preparation space.
The Results
The completed freezer room went on to pass rigorous government testing and is still maintained by ORAC to this day.
